Message from the Chef
I didn’t start out in a traditional kitchen. I learned sushi through self-study and hands-on practice, after traveling the world solo at age 17. What I heard over and over from people abroad was: “I want to invite a sushi chef to my home in Japan,” or “I want to enjoy sushi without worrying about my kids or a restaurant setting.”That stayed with me. I realized there’s a real need—even in Japan—for private dining experiences: for families, for the elderly, for special occasions. That’s why I started Matcha Experience Osaka.Just like the ritual of making matcha became part of Japanese culture, I want the act of preparing sushi before your eyes to become an experience in itself—relaxing, memorable, and delicious.Thank you for letting us be a part of your special moments.
