[Kyoto] Kitano Tenmangu Antique Market
The Kitano Tenmangu Antique Market, commonly known as Tenjin-ichi, takes place monthly on the 25th at Kyoto’s historic Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. This market is a vibrant hub of traditional Japanese culture and antiques. Particularly notable are the Hatsu Tenjin (January 25th) and Shimai Tenjin (December 25th) markets—the first and last markets of the year—which attract large crowds of visitors.
